I purchased this item based on the reviews. It really is very very light. I was suprised at how quickly its heated up and ready to go and how quickly it cools down and can be easily stored. Its design allows the heated part of the iron not to touch when you set it down and it also acts as a wrap for the cord. The steam is great and powerful. It comes with it's own water pouring cup for steam too. Very satisfied!Customer Review: Shipping and transit

I'm impressed with this iron because the price is so reasonable and the product is reliable. It's easy to spend more money on something that may seem to be better because of it's BRAND name but why pay more when this iron is just as good or better. I baught this for it is little light, It really works great. I have ironed lot of shirts.I think if one uses it properly, it works like charm. I didn't want to spend a lot on a new iron when my old one broke, and I'd used a fabulous Black & Decker model at a friend's house, so I looked for that brand. This is not quite full size--but it's quite powerful. It heats up really quickly (appreciated when I have put off ironing today's work outfit until--today!), gives a good blast of steam, and although light, does a good job getting dried-wrinkly linen trousers and shirts beautifully ironed. My one complaint is that the turn-off feature is too quick on the draw. If I turn it on, go to the bathroom to brush my teeth, and return, it's already off. I also am not a fan of the rotary wheel setting-choosing thingy--prefer a bar that quickly goes from off, to high heat for linen, and back--I don't like having to turn and turn the wheel when I'm always in that morning rush. But these are small complaints. This is an excellent iron for the price.
