If you need to clean up those little wet spills around the house there's nothing better than a DustBuster. The CWV4830 model can clean up both dry and wet spills for maximum versatility. Better than a regular vacuum cleaner this DustBuster can get into small hard-to-get-to spots. It also features 2 speed power boost for even larger messes.Able to clean up both wet spills and dry dirt, this cordless hand vacuum is perfect for the house, car, boat, or motor home. Two speeds provide extra suction power when it's needed. It mounts conveniently in its recharging base either on a wall or on a horizontal surface--or the charging base doesn't need to be mounted at all, and the vacuum can be moved from place to place attached to the base. A crevice tool for hard-to-reach areas and a squeegee for wet spills store in the vacuum. The bagless vacuum has a transparent dirt cup with a filter that snaps off the power housing for emptying. The filter is Black & Decker's improved double-action type, which has three times the surface of previous DustBuster filters. It's washable and replaceable. Equipped with a 4.8-volt battery, the vacuum runs 10 minutes without needing recharging. It measures 16 inches long and 4-3/4 inches wide and carries a two-year warranty against defects. I bought this handheld vac for our "den" that has the hamster cage and fish tank - After getting worn out by pulling my big vaccuum out everyday to clean up the mess the hamster would make every night.I was very attracted by the price ... and after using it I was attracted by the features. The crevice tool makes it easy to get into the grooves around the baseboards..under furniture and in small places. It's also perfect for my washer/dryer room (which my dryer makes a bit of a mess also:0) The fact that it's cordless makes it even easier - it's small enough to put in a convenient place and not have to lug out the big vaccuum for small messes. It's perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, laundry rooms, etc.
The 4.8 Volts may not be the strongest volt you can have on a cordless vac - but it is strong enough for this handheld vac. I've not had a problem with it picking up - it's got good suction - I'm not disappointed at all.
I grew up with my Mother owning a Dust Buster - she used it every day for years!!! She only replaced it because of the upgraded features. My experience with the Black & Decker Dust Busters is that they are reliable, sturdy and will last for years to come!

You won't be disappointed with the quality, price or performace of this wet/dry handheld vac (and I should also add cordless).
