This detail sander's small size allows it to get into tight spaces. It has a very comfortable grip and comes with an attachment to sand in between stair balusters. It comes with a hook and loop sanding pad and scrubbing and polishing options. This is a light-duty tool, designed for occasional use, perfect for the homeowner or handyman.This tool is not recommended for carpenters or woodworkers, as it is not designed to be used continuously for hours on end. Customer Review: Good detail sander, paper is expensive

This is a good little sander. I have been using it to get the small areas that my large 6' random orbital cannot reach. It works well for rounded surfaces due to it's soft pad.
My one complaint is the sandpaper replacement pads are pricey. Fortunately, since I only use this for small areas, I won't go through a lot of paper.
This is NOT a heavy duty sander. It would not work well for large areas, or removing large amounts of material. Look elsewhere for your primary sander.
I have only used this for a short time. I will update my review over time as I get more experience with this tool.
