You will likely be disappointed if you buy a Scumbuster expecting it to "power off" soil and grime. However, this is definitely a worthwhile tool to own if you want to save wear and tear on yourself! I have tendinitis in my right elbow which flares up with a lot of hard, repetitive movement (like scrubbing). With the Scumbuster I am able to just sweep it over a surface and the tool does the "scrubbing" part for me. I've even used it left-handed. Therefore the bathroom, etc. actually gets cleaned more often! Actually my main concern about the Scumbuster is where to get replacement sponges and brushes -- I haven't seen them for sale anywhere....Customer Review: Saved my carpet

Last month I bought a house with very dirty carpets. I had intended to replace them but I was putting it off because of the expense. I bought the scumbuster on a whim while shopping and I was extremly surprised at it's effectiveness. The scumbuster and a can of woolite carpet cleaner removed every stain in my living room carpet where several hours of hand scrubbing had failed. I then tried it out in my bathrooms and I can honestly say that I've never had cleaner sinks.
This product would get 5 stars if the battery life were longer and extra parts were readily available.

I kept looking at this product on your web site, but hesitated to buy it because of the other review that rates it the "scummiest handheld tool I own." Well, I'm so glad that I didn't listen and purchased it, anyway, because I LOVE it! In my pre-ScumBuster days, I avoided scrubbing the tub and tile at all costs. . .now I faithfully whip out the ScumBuster once a week. My grout has never looked so good. I highly recommend this to anyone that doesn't enjoy bathroom cleaning. It will change your mind completely.Customer Review: Clean Shower

I am very happy with the Black and Decker Scrubber. Translating the power drill technology to power cleaning was pure genius. I now have a clean shower for the first time ever. Soap scum--gone. I also use it on pots and pans. The only problem--it comes with a rechargable battery system, but each charge only lasts 30 minutes. I am on the hunt for additional battery packs and all the other attatchments that the box promises, but no luck with online sources, Target, Meijers, Bed/Bath/ and Beyond.Customer Review: Very Handy

I was a real skeptic about this product. My mother had one that I tried. I love it! I have 2 fiberglass tubs, one with glass doors, and it works wonderfully. It is particularly handy on the glass doors as the small brush attachment gets all around the seal on the glass and down in the track. The fiberglass tubs shine like new everytime I use it! It's great for removing soap scum.The only thing that would make it better would be a little more power. Then it would deserve a 5 star rating!
