During the January snow storm, I lost power for 4 days so I ordered the stormstation. Two nights after it arrived, I lost power again, but only for a few hours. The light came on so I was not stumbling around in the dark trying to find a flash light. I used the detachable flashlight to locate my portable dvd player so the grandkids could watch a movie. I plan to use this not only as an emergency device but also take it with us camping and on the boat. It's nice to have a little bit of juice to run small electric devices like my cell phone or dvd player. It's also nice to have several devices in one, ie the flash light, radio and power source.Customer Review: Storm Station

I bought 2 of them. One for us and one for a friend.We haven't used ours yet, but it's ready to go.The friend had a power outage and used his. He said it was great. The light lit up his living room enough to read by. He got to listen to radio and tv stations . According to him , more people should have one in their home.
