I purchased the Vector run a 4-amp max rated thermoelectric cooler, and it worked well for 1 week. The Vector just quit on me. I am disappointed with the product not only for the obvious longevity issue, but the total lack of any serviceable reset or overload protection. My recommendation: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.Customer Review: Fire Hazard

I do not trust this item. The very first time i plugged it up, It began to belch out smoke, putrid smoke. If it wasn't for the fact that i only paid 66 cents for it i would seek to get my money back
